The National Trust of Australia in conjunction with Nicole Larkin have published an article on our states ocean pools. The Wild Edge has been a long term project recording and researching ocean pools in NSW. Now, with the support of the National Trust and Heritage NSW, this project will focus on writing guidelines for the care and management of this unique collection of coastal assets.

‘NSW’s ocean pools are an amazing asset and legacy, an iconic collection of recreational infrastructure running the entire length of our coast. But these special places are under threat. Along with the natural ravages of time and tide, ocean pools are increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.’
